Gardening 101???

On Saturday, Torrey and I went with Jason & Amy and kids to go to Echters to get the supplies that we need to start our square foot gardening.

Amy was very successful with her garden last year and I thought it would be a great thing to try so that I can make babyfood for our little one.

I am really trying to think ahead and find ways to save money so that we can have me stay home and care for our blessing as well as our home and my husband (also blessings) and not have to worry about doing all of that as well as going to work everyday. We believe that God will help us as we feel this is what we should do.

We will set it up so that when I go on maternity leave I can go back to work and possibly be able to negotiate part-time from home. It would be more ideal if we need the extra, but we pray that God can show us how to be faithful with what He has given us and invest in our child like my parents were able to do with me.

I have an interview on Monday to take in an editorial job. It will not pay a lot, but it could be something that pays for the groceries and a bill each month and not take up a lot of time and since I like to be creative and also write, it feels like it could be a good mix. Then if we
can throw in my photography every once in a while, we feel we can be okay. Not as well off as now, but well off in the comfort and blessings of family.

If all of that fails, we will consider taking kids into our home since I have a background in ECE and have my directors certificate and love kids, it might be the next best thing.
