Discouragement --> Encouragement

I covet all of your prayers at this time in my life. I know that it should be an exciting time as we wait for our upcoming baby, but I have been struggling with just being overwhelmed with the Diabetes and how to manage that so that I am caring for the baby.

There are so many things on my mind right now and I know that God knows about every one of them and allows them to be there because they WILL bring glory to Him.

I want to do what is right for this baby and make sure they are healthy and well cared for now and I want to be able to encourage my husband in the job struggles and I want to trust that God has each step ordered by Him and that He IS in control. I know all of these things to be true, but I still have so much doubt and uncertainty that is coming daily especially when my sugar levels are higher than I have been told I want them to be and knowing that it is impacting the health of our child.

If any of you have some verses that can encourage me and point me back to the truth of our awesome God, I would appreciate you sharing them with me because I am at a place where wise counsel, admonishment and accountability is needed.

Thank you for reading this less than encouraging post and for your willingness to care for me, my husband and our child.

Here is the verse that God showed me in Bible Study Last night that encourages and point out truth to me.

Deuteronomy 13:4- It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

I cannot let my focus go to the disease that I am dealing with and the job situations that my husband is facing or that will take my eyes off of God. He has promised to take care of those that love Him and I need to remember who I serve.

Psalm 33:18
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

Psalm 147:11
the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Romans 8:28
[ More Than Conquerors ] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"

James 1:12
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

PRAISE God, all of this is temporary, this is not my home. Thank you Jesus for the encouragement you have provided me already in your great and awesome truth.

    II Chronicles 20:17
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.

Isaiah 58 v: 11 The LORD will guide you always;he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

  3. Hi Lynette!
This is Ashley Shaver. I saw your comment on Robyn Marmon's blog and followed it to your blog. It is so great to see you! I love your new haircut, by the way! I haven't had a chance to read through your blog, yet, but I wanted to say hello and congratulations on your marriage and coming baby! I'd love to hear from you.
