I have a very precious nephew named Logan. He has been such a source of encouragement to us since our Madilyne died. He has made phone calls to us, drawn us pictures of Madilyne and Jordan being accepted by Jesus into Heaven, sent us notes, sent us Bible verses and made us gifts.
The latest is this noodle necklace wrapped in aluminum foil. He said he made it because Lena means Bright One.
Thank you, Jesus, for the precious gift you have given me in my nephew Logan. Thank you for his simplistic childlike faith that helps us remember not to take ourselves to serious but to remember your promises to us and to keep growing our faith in you.
Proverbs 4:18 - But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
